Casters make
the TV furniture mobile and serve to adjust the TV set to the sitting
location of the viewer. The casters come in two variants: a)
manufactured from hard synthetic, suitable for carpeted floors; and b)
with softer running surfaces, especially for parquet and stone flooring.
Both caster variants are obtainable for the following models:
Alphastatic, Deltastatic, Biga, Lambda and Focus. Because all the
furniture from Schroers & Schroers – outside of the Triga series – are
provided with identical screw threads for fitting the feet, it allows
problem-free replacement of leveling feet by casters or spikes.
Spikes are a specially sensible accessory for audio furniture. They
eliminate the transmission of footstep sounds to the sensitive
audio-components and serve as levelers for compensation of floor
unevenness. Over and above that they raise the stability of the
furniture because the surface pressure is reduced.
Spikes from Schroers & Schroers are manufactured from solid, chrome
steel and can be optionally used with the points or the rounded sides
down. To protect from spikes on delicate stone or wooden floors,
protective caps are supplied for the rounded end of the spikes. Spikes
can be obtained for all models which are production fitted with floor
levelers.
